LAND & ESTATE MANAGEMENT

Our estate management team negotiated the surrender of an agricultural tenancy (AHA), regranted part of the land back under a Farm Business Tenancy (FBT) and agreed annual and short-term grazing licences on the remainder of the land previously under the AHA. For the in-hand land, we arranged the transfer of the Basic Payment Scheme and entitlements (and made the first claim) and continue to manage the works undertaken by contractors. The team also advised on appropriate plant machinery and undertook their necessary purchase. For the let properties, we established a digital terrier and accounts system and audited and fulfilled any deficiencies in health and safety or other compliance matters. We have advised on and recruited the necessary staff, and undertook the proper inductions, issuing contracts and other necessary documentation.
